On 12 October 2020, the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Ethiopia and the African Union, His Excellency Stephen Auer, and a delegation from the GIZ, paid a courtesy visit to the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) and Tana Forum Secretariat. The meeting focused on the joint collaboration between the German Government and IPSS. The German Federal Government, through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit
(GIZ), has supported Tana Forum since its establishment.
Mr. Stephen Auer, alongside the IPSS Director, Dr. Yonas Adeto Adaye, the ARUA Director, and Tana Secretariat Director, Ms. Lettie Longwe, held a successful meeting that will strengthen the important partnership between the German Federal Government and the IPSS.
