High-Level Courtesy Visit

The ARUA Secretary-General, Prof. John Owusu Gyapong, along with Prof. Worash Getaneh, Vice President for Research and Innovation at Addis Ababa University, visited us today. During the visit, Dr. Mercy Fekadu, IPSS and the ARUA CoE Director along with ARUA research fellows, presented their research and research capacity-building initiatives. They emphasized how ARUA’s support and collaboration with member universities have enabled their participation in interdisciplinary pan-African research. The Secretary-General commended the ARUA CoE’s success in using past support to build sustainable partnerships. He encouraged the CoE to continue its commitment to innovation, collaboration, and the independent development of grant proposals.
