Extension of Deadline: Executive Master’s in Managing Peace and Security in Africa (MPSA)

Are you a mid- to senior-level professional working in peace, security, governance, or development in Africa? The Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) is now accepting applications for Cohort 21 of its Executive Master’s Degree in Managing Peace and Security in Africa (MPSA). This flexible, part-time programme empowers experienced practitioners to deepen their policy knowledge, enhance their leadership skills, and continue working while pursuing graduate-level education.

Designed to address the dynamic challenges of peace and governance on the continent, the MPSA brings together participants from across the African Union, Regional Economic Communities (RECs), international organizations, and NGOs. The programme combines rigorous academic instruction with practical insights, offering six online sessions between October 2025 and September 2026. Graduates of the MPSA go on to influence change and drive policy at national, regional, and continental levels.

Interested candidates must apply by 14 July 2025. Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, demonstrate English proficiency (via NGAT, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), and have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
