Forty-two Graduate from IPSS

29 July, 2019

Some of the graduates expressed their deep appreciation to the partner institutions that have made the training possible: the African Union (AU), IPSS, GIZ, and ADA.

On 13 July 2019, the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) held its graduation ceremony for 42 students in its flagship Executive Masters in Managing Peace and Security in Africa (MPSA), regular MA and PhD programs. The graduates are comprised of governmental, inter-governmental or multilateral agency employees with a keen interest in peace and security in Africa.

Some of the graduates expressed their deep appreciation to the partner institutions that have made the training possible: the African Union (AU), IPSS, GIZ, and ADA. They further renewed their commitment to continue to support IPSS to ensure that the MPSA programme retains its niche as an African-centered, but world-class programme of higher learning on peace and security in Africa.

The MPSA Executive MA offers to experienced professionals working on African peace and security issues a unique opportunity to acquire certified and in-depth training while continuing to work in their respective organizations. The MPSA training prepares critical, reflective practitioners with the skills to provide new cost-effective and creative solutions for complex and dynamic problems.

The management and staff of IPSS wish all our graduates success in their future endeavours, and we proudly congratulate them on their academic achievements and successful graduation from IPSS.
